Accelerometer

Post by bindi »

Hi Gang!
Welcome back, hope you all had a great Easter break!
I say bring on more public holidays! We had the Thursday off as well so 5 days off =D> LOVE IT!

My real reason for this post is Im trying to buy and source an accelerometer. I have tried some suppliers but cant seem to find one. Are they called something else?
Can anyone give me a direction?

Do you have a data logger? You should be able to get one to attach to that from wherever you got the data logger. Happy hunting!

This is HIGH tech accelerator :wink2: I am not sure that your HOD will approve it,but you can try to impress him with technology.

Bindi

I bought one yr before last, from serrata. Its just 2 perspex plates that can be filled with coloured liquid, and can be attached to a momentum trolley. The clear perspex sides have a grid & measurements on them that can be read. The physics teacher thinks it works well. Low cost as well :-)
