Cleaning deflagrating spoons.

Hello everyone - seeking your experience cleaning deflagrating spoons!! Ours usually end up in a horrible mess with built-up residue because they haven't been cleaned properly between pracs. Any suggestions? Judygee.

R u talking sulfur? my experience is to keep them separate and just keep reusing for this purpose.Mission impossible to remove. Chances are they will break anyway!! They are cheap enough,your time is worth more!!

Hi

If you heat them to red heat, generally most substances will be vapourised or at least greatly reduced to an ash where you can scrape it off easily

Thank you to Dianne and Kim for your suggestions, I wasn't talking about sulphur in particular but a build up, over the weeks, of a number of different compounds. I put them over the heat --- (it took a while) but I now have clean deflagrating spoons. Thank you both. Cheers. Judy.

Going to clean mine to cause they are covered with sulphur n its not to professional to just leave it their though i see the point. :-o
