We may all be on different syllabus's, I really do not think each state, is on the same level.
So I do not think NSW can help you.

We use the following for years 8 - 10 (7's are still in primary school over here in the west)
Science Quest 1 & 2
Fundamentals of Science 1-4
Science World 1 & 2
Science Alive
Science World 1 & 2 are very popular with our new, younger teachers, while the more mature prefer fundamentals of Science and Science Quest.
Hope this helps

Hi Maree,
We use Longman 1,2,3,4 for years 7-10. Also have copies of Science Now 1,2,3,4 (still used occasionally).
Among the Staffroom resources we have Heinemann Interactive Science 1,2,3,4; also Core Science 1,2,3,4; Science Focus 1,2,3,4; and Excel Study Guide Year 7-8; and Year 9-10. Plus of course, my teachers keep every Science text book since they were all at school - naturally we still have the old Messell books which I used back in the late '60's when I was in high school.
