Where do you get Mercury?

Post by RosalieM »

Goodmorning all! Hope you had a good weekend. Mine was busy as Tamworth is hosting the State Firefighting Championships :)

I'm just wondering if anyone knows what companies sell mercury. I can only find it through Serrata and am hoping to do some price comparisons before we get some more.
Thanks,
Rosalie :)

I believe but can not find anything to back this up, Mercury in schools is very limited, and you can use up what you have, I believe purchasing more is out of the question. But that may only be for DET schools. You may need to check. Mercury can only be used by a Science teacher and us labs, NO ONE ELSE AT ALL. Just can not think what experiment the teacher would do???????????????

Might be a good idea if you print out both the MSDS and the CSIS entry on Mercury for the teacher to read to the class before the dem....
