Prepared Microscope slides

Howdy doody!

Am about to order some prepared microscope slides for yr 11 prac exams, I am after cheek cells, elodea and amoeba slides. Am choosing between two suppliers, southern biological and scientrific... As they have no photos of there slides I don't know what the quality of the slides are... Does anyone have slides from theses suppliers and are you happy with the quality of them? As it is for a prac exam, its important that all the slides are of high quality, so all the kids get an equal chance...

I'm no help But share your frustration that suppliers don't provide photo's of their product, so you are buying "a pig in a poke"

Hi Sassi,

I would probably go with Southern Biological as Bio being there thing they should be good quality. In the past we have bought only from them so I can't compare but I certainly can't complain about quality either.

Funny the teacher suggested that since I am good with histology that I make some for them in my spare time... Spare time
