Pasteurs Experiment revisited

Morning Fellow Chemtalkers,

I need some timely advice in regards to the above experiment.
In previous years we have used chicken stock cubes and various hotch potch flasks and bungs and tubes. As we have various degrees of success doing this, this year I bought new flasks and bungs that fit, made new tubes and bought airlocks. I brewed up some fantastic chicken stock from chicken wings. We have now been incubating for nearly three weeks and only one of the flasks has grown a thing.

Please are there any suggestions on how to improve this experiment so we have some meaningful results?
Should we incubate at a certain temperature?? [-o< [-o<

Help!!!!

Lorrae :-( :-(

hi Lorrae,
sounds like you are on the right track. We would do about 4-5 sets, so 4 would be with airlock and 4 just with the bungs and straight glass tubing. In this weather it will take a couple of weeks to grow anything.
Hopefully, the one that is growing is the one without airlock, correct? #-o
