HI everyone
I was wondering if anyone have LCD data projector over the white board and are required to stand on leader and clean the air filter.
i was asked to do it at least has to be done once a month.
Where does OHS feet into this.

Hit the ball back into the IT court !
They are responsible for all IT equipment and they have the knowledge and necessary equipment to clean the LCD Data Projector.

I think I would have to agree with Smee, in that it really is the IT department's responsibility, and if you do not feel confident digging around in several thousands of dollars worth of IT equipment at the top of a ladder, then that really should settle the question. They can not force you to do a task where you personally FEEL unsafe, or unqualified.
Having said that, I generally do the filters in our projectors, but that is because I used to be the GA and do not have a problem with being up a ladder. I installed a couple of our projectors!
At very least, there should be somebody to steady the ladder!
