I have 4 titrations to do to standardise 3 lots of H Cl acid, before 10 am today. I cant find my titration examples as I suspect that the folders that had all my calcs were also the ones that were boxed up and put away for the new shelves!!!
eeekkk!
panic..havent got time to dig for them, can anyone post the calcs & workings for titrations as its been over 12 mths since i have had to do this and I am not confisdent ion winging it. Would prefer to see the workings so I can plug in my own figures.
its Na2 Co3 and H Cl.. so we need twice as much H Cl as we do the Na2 Co3.
Thnaks
Hopefully .. off I go to titrate ...again

Hi
This is how I work it out
Concentration of carbonate times Volume of carbonate times 2 divided by Volume of HCl equals Concentration of HCl
Hope this helps
