Can be purchased from Haines, has any one tried this, I was think of of around chemicals bottles when you have opened them.

I've used it as a fix for washing machine hose. For chemical bottles I would imagine it's a bit fiddly as you need to apply it quite tight and overlap in order to get it to bond. But the stuff does work very well as a sealant, so I'd say worth a shot.
