Does anyone know what "credo" is on the new ffx chemwatch site?
Thanks Superbug

Credo is old "classify", you can make own labels for the mixtures, e. g for making nylon prac., base layer is made of 2.2 g of 1,6-diaminohexane (hexamethylene diamine, hexane-1,6-diamine, and 1.5 g of decanedioyl dichloride (sebacoyl chloride, you can make doube volume and keep it for the next time. it is good for the waste as well

I went to a training day on Friday, on the new Chemwatch.
Good in the morning but the afternoon, I think she (Anna) was playing catchup and left us floundering this included Credo when sussed it could be good.
The old chestnut came up, "Why can't we have subscript No's" and response was "why do you need that. Dumb computer jockey's who have no chemistry knowledge!

I am getting increasingly frustrated with the new chemwatch set up.
I am updating SDS's that have expired and I can find the chemicals but I can't access the SDS because I need to send a request to chemwatch to access it. Has any one else encountered this?
I have never had this kind of problem before. :banghead2: :banghead2: what the heck????

few tips
make sure you Vendor SDS is selected, only click chemical that have AU attached, press F5 from time to time (to refresh site),. Make habit of clearing all cookies before you start using chemwatch
If you are only updating SDS sheets go to the suppliers website, quicker and up to date. Most of my chemicals are from chem supply. I updated my SDS sheets from their website yesterday quick and easy

Thanks Jazz. Have just been feeling really annoyed with it!!

The reason you can't access the SDS Rae is that the company who put out the chemical hasn't given permission for Chemwatch to use the SDS. You have to fill in the field, send it to Chemwatch and they approach the company to get permission to display it.

Yes I assumed that was the case. I guess it was the fact I'm replacing a chemwatch MSDS for Benzoic acid that I had printed off 5 years ago, so why can't I now find one in chemwatch to use. It made me cranky because the new version for me is much slower and annoying!!
