Interestingly
I just got this out for a prac and its still as dark as it was 6 months ago .
Alas they wasn't much left so I went to make some more up .
This time I used a different brand of Bleach that was in the cupboard , but it just didn't work .first off, the fizzing reaction when adding the HCl was barely happening . When I added the Potassium Bromide , it was a pale yellow colour .
So I got out the old Black and Gold brand Bleach and it worked a treat again .
