Transporting Textbooks

Post by mazcheck »

We have class sets of textbooks which need to travel between classes including up and down some stairs. Recently purchased some collapsible trolley carts (plastic crate, handle and two wheels) but two have already broken. In the past the teacher(s) have sent 2 kids to carry the crate of books but there are WHS issues involved. Any suggestions????

We had the same problem with the collapsible trolleys. Luckily our labs are all on 1 level so the teachers carry their own crates of books to class.
The best I can suggest is to get one of those trolleys that goes up & down stairs. But they can be quite expensive, and bulky. Or get each kid to collect their own textbook from a central location on their way to class.

In the long run it would be cheaper to bu another set of textbooks to stay on the level that they are required.
