Hi labbies!

My job position has been just advertised as I'm moving to the UK in September.

If you or know anyone who would be interested in applying please find the job ad on teachers on net.

The school is St Ursula's College, all girls. It is a wonderful place to work in. Great science team and support staff team. We just had 4 new labs (2 years old) made and another 2 ready for term 4.

I've done my best in organising everything as I've only been doing this job for just over 3 years.

Best of luck! :-) :-) :-)

Also, there will be a year 10 prac exam in Week 7 (the week the job starts).

I will get all solutions sorted and hopefully it won't be too crazy.

Sounds like exciting times for you. Is the move permanent? Too bad Kingsgrove is too far from home for me, sounds like you are leaving a nice work place.

Lol! They just told me this morning 8O I would feel terrible leaving that to the new person on their first week!

Hubby got a job researching Alzheimer's at Cambridge Uni so got to make the move. I'm so sad that I'm going! it'll be for a couple of years but who knows what could happen in that time!

I used to work at Lizzie Mac (as a teacher), out your way Merilyn. Are you there or close by?

No, I'm at the catholic school (not far from where you were at all). Sounds like an incredible move - what a HUGE experience!
I've been given a bit over two weeks for a Yr 10 prac test, and even then it is only a draft, but assuming things won't change much from the draft. I thought I had been given heaps of time for that - beats the less-than-one week's notice I usually get. Seven weeks - wow!

Best wishes for a safe and easy move into your new life. You'll have to send us photos!
