G'day All,
can anyone tell me if there is a standard system out there for labelling sensitive rooms in Science buildings?
eg: CHEMICAL STORE - RESTRICTED ACCESS!
I would be very appreciative.
Cheers,
~Robyn

Hi Robyn

When I did an OHS course (quite a few years ago) I don't recall anything being mentioned about this but it certainly sounds like a good idea.

Setons have all manner of signs, if you plan on getting one.

Cheers,

Robyn

I did a OH&S course 2005. They stated that a picture should be used at all times. Caution when wet, with a picture of someone slipping.

That sort of thing. We have saftey "foot wear area" disc's on the floor.
First Aid Kit signs
No entry
Staff Only
Fire Extinguisher
Fire Blanket
Caution wet floor
Caution this is Hot
Caution acid in use
their are so many, perhaps too many to list.

Its a long job, but well worth doing. We also have a Chemical Store, sign,
Warning signs for Laser, Risk of Radation, etc
I know I have missed so many, but first sit down a do it on paper. MSDS located here signs. We typed ours up, and someone in art did the picture, very much like the real ones.
