School Support Officer - Science Laboratory Assistant
A permanent part time position (70 hours per fortnight) commencing 27 January 2017. The successful applicant
will be required to work in the science laboratory assisting teachers and students.
Essential Criteria:
* qualifications and experience in laboratory work preferably in a High School setting
* ability to cover all aspects of WHS and safety in the work environment
* a proven ability to work collegially and effectively
* excellent written and oral communication skills
* good computer and record keeping skills
* understanding of safe practices in relation to a school environment
* flexibility in working procedures
* ability to work under limited direction
* be an active member of the school WHS Committee
* an understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic school within the broader
Catholic Church.
Desirable Criteria:
* a current First Aid Certificate
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the School Administrative
Services Enterprise Agreement 2015 NSW and ACT Catholic Systemic Schools.

response to the selection criteria.
