Hi. I am the lab assistant at an DoE school but not on the mailing list. Another labbie sent me a copy of the mailout but unsure if I am entitled to attend.

Anyone can attend . See your SAM to see if you can get it as a PD day . Last year they ( my school) covered the cost of coarse , travel (petrol) and accommodation.

Please ask your school if they will cover the costs as apart from the workshops the conference is a great place to connect with other
Labbies and be supported. No one really understands our job except us

I may be biased as it's at my school but the venue is wonderful and my principal and staff are very supportive
of the work the committee do in running this conference.

Plus the food is especially delicious as it's prepared by our Year 11 students in our Tradewynds café.
