MSDS's

For those of us who do not have Chemwatch - doyou need msds's for all chemicals or just the haz and dangerous ones?
I just contacted a company o brought some buffer tablets from to request the msds's for teh items - they have come back with theya re not haradous there fore a msds is not required - and in any case it is shipped form another country so no you can not have one....i thought they HAD to provide an msds regardless if it is hazardous or dangerous good .

any light on this subject would be appreciated.

The CSIS states it is only Hazdous goods that need a MSDS, in NSW DET schools. I am not too sure about WA.

I notice on the Chemwatch MSDS pages they have an issue date and a print date.
I remember seeing somewhere the MSDS's have to be reprinted, is it every 3 or 5 years??
