uv lamp - replacement globe

Our OLD black and very big uv lamp has blown its globe. It is marked GEC 125w MBW/U
220/250v GK Made in England. I have been surching the net and can not seem to find suppliers. Does anyone know where I can purchase the globe? thanks heaps Chris

Have you tried a Lighting Shop ... they usually specialize in globes............ or Bunnings ?
My home UV lamp blew and I picked us a new globe at a local Lighting store.

Thanks for the tip of asking the local lighting shop - being in 'the country' we may not have as much choice as in the city - but I will still drop in and see.

Try Pro-Lamps in Sydney phone (02) 98904404 contact Julie they specialize in
all sorts of lamps for instrumentation give them the numbers on the globe if they have it
they will post it to you.

Hi Mazza
I phoned Pro Lamps and they said that the lglobes were not available and that there were no replacements available. Now we are looking at purchasing a new UV Lamp!

how about lamp replacements - they have an amazing range - link below
