CHEMWATCH

Post by Whspa »

I have just tried to use Chemwatch this morning and it is asking me for a username and password. It's never happened before. Has anyone else had this happen?

I've been using ChemGold 2 for 5 years and ALWAYS needed a username and password! Never let me on without it.

Well!?! After 5 years of the same user name and password, Chemwatch 2 has declared that I don't exist!?! I'm not surre whether I should feel humbled or outraged... but as usual more pressing things going on before I worry about that! (As they say, there is no rest for wicked!)

On Tuesday Chemwatch was down for a while so maybe that has something to do with the problems you all are having

We are a DET school, I do have a user name & password. It was sent to us by Region, to put our chemical register ONLINE with chemwatch. I have only just finished putting the whole school on line. If I am doing MSDS check's I use the web site that I do not need a user name & Password. So in my farvouites I have two chemwatch's. I am not sure if we are a pilot school for the online chemical register or what. Perhaps we will all get user names & passwords soon. The NSW Fire service also uses chemwatch, and can see a schools chemical register if they need too. And again were it is stored. So perhaps that is why?

Well, I just opened Chemwatch and did a test search for THYMOL BLUE - need a password and username. :-( So I did a search on ethanol - no problem. :-o Then I tried thymol blue (lower case) - no problem :? ETHANOL (upper case) - no problem. Is this just a glitch on my computer??
