1,6 diaminohexane

Post by jodye »

Hi All,

I have 4 very old containers in our fridge of 1,6 diaminohexane that I need to get rid of but can't work out how to dispose of it.
I tried CSIS & MSDS & am still unsure of what to do. Could someone give me a little advice. :-(

Thanks
Jodye

Do you get your waste picked up by a contractor? If so, leave it in the fridge until the pick up day.
Do not store in freezer. Solutions are strongly alkaline.

We only get a contractor out very 4 years or so. I think I will just leave it in the fridge then until we do another big clean out.
thanks Lada.
