Separating Funnels
Separating Funnels
What do you use as liquids to separate in the separating funnels? One teacher uses oil which is very difficult to clean out and another uses kerosene which smells. Any ideas welcome.

We use Oil and I wash them in very hot water

Soak them in nappy san or similar and very hot water.

We use oil and water too and the same as other soak /wash with very hot water and plenty of detergent.
