Does NSW have anything like the WA organistation labnetwest? they seem to organise all sorts of training.
Kathryn
training opportunities?
Hi Kathryn, We don't have any lab assistants' organisation that has training courses in NSW, but SLAMN (School Laboratory Assistants Metropolitan Network) does hold a two day conference at St. Marys Senior HS in November each year. If you would like to forward me your school's postal address, I will send you a registration form as soon as they are available. There are a couple of motels nearby if you need to stay overnight. Don't forget the STANSW annual conference 1/2 December at UNSW. Friday 1 December has workshops for Lab Techs. Information will be available soon on the STANSW website http://www.stansw.asn or email me for further information.

Whilst NSW doesn't have an association similar to Vic, SA & WA, we do have an email network if you would like to be added.
Just send me an email asking to be added and it shall be done.
Cheers
Margaret
