Thank you Judy. At least I know I'm not going crazy. I also contacted the technical support team of the supplier and they were not at all helpful. The instructions on the Crookes tube indicate that a HVPS can be used to operate it. Will definately let you know if I find any further information to he...

High Voltage Power Supply

Does anyone out there use a high voltage power supply in place of an induction coil to operate a crookes tube? If so is it just "plug and play" or is there some trick involved? I bought one and a new maltese cross but noone can get it to work. Power is getting to the unit and the low volta...

I put sodium thiosulfate on the iodine and mix until there is no brown colour left then dispose of to sewer.

Hi MariaC,
I have the plans for our new labs and they have..CODE "DW" DESCRIPTION "Dish Washer (domestic type) SIZE "TBC". Hope all goes well for you. I also think the new storage system will take a bit of getting use to but at least it will be clean and easy to open!

I have a 2ml one and a 10ml one but I keep them for myself, noone knows I have them and I'm not telling. I love them they are so easy to use.
