Hi all,
Could anyone give me some hints on what they use and do to clean their dishwasher surfaces by hand. The dishwasher here is about 8 years old and is quite stained.
Thanks Maverick.

Re: Cleaning a dishwasher
The stains may be Silver Nitrate, in which case they may NOT come out. I have learnt so much from Chemtalk, promise not to laugh!!!!!!!!!!!
Run the dish washer on empty and put in NAPPY SAN, do'nt laugh it works.

Thanks, I will give that a go. And yes I love this site. I have only been a labby for almost 2 years with no science background. I am always learning lots of interesting and basic things that I don't know about, for example storing magnets. I now know the correct way of doing this. Go Chemtalk!!
