Can anyone tell me what concentration their stock Sodium thiosulphate is & where they get it from??

I bought my sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate at science supply australia at 500g for $11.50 only last term.You can also get it at westlab on special till this friday 15% off all chemicals.
Concerntration? do you mean molecular weight? mine m.w. is 248.18

You should be able to get it from wherever you buy the rest of your chemicals. It's one of those ones I don't keep a stock solution of. I just make it up to whatever concentration is required for a specific prac. I don't think it gets used very often...

I have a couple of bottles of 0.25M which are used in a Yr11 Chem prac Rate of Reaction. It's also good for iodine spills. Just rinse in sodium thiosulfate, then rinse again with water.

At the moment I have 0.1M and 0.002M in stock
Ive been preparing a large prac this morning and must have sniffed too many chemicals,after reading it again, of course it made sense
