Thymol/Ethyl Alcohol mix for crystals

Hello, can anybody help me?????
Our senior Earth and environment class are going to grow crystals. And the textbook(Spotlight Earth and Environment Science 1 pg 82) says a saturated solution of a mixture of Thymol crystals in Ethyl Alcohol.
Would you put 50/50, or does anyone have a better mix ratio for me to use.. [-o<

I'm guessing you'd make it the same as other saturated solutions, dissolving small amounts till no more dissolves. Although the emphasis in that statement is on the "guessing".
